Requirements
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails (or comparable framework).
- Familiarity with the command line and Git.
- Experience dealing with SQL databases.
- Experience working with third-party APIs and external services.
- Experience with asynchronous job processing.
- Ability to work 16 hours per week for a four-month duration.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain existing analytics platform to improve reporting, insights, and performance.
- Support the development and optimization of advertising infrastructure.
- Design, build, and enhance features within the Content Management System (CMS).
- Build interactive tools, story components, and digital experiences that enhance reporters' storytelling.
- Ensure all products and features are responsive, accessible, and optimized for a consistent user experience.
