Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building production software.
- Experience building production AI applications that real customers use.
- Strong Python experience.
- Hands-on AWS experience.
- Proficiency with frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in several tech stack components (e.g., React, Next.js, TypeScript, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL).
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to take ownership without needing heavy direction.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or agentic workflows is a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems, Terraform, or SaaS scaling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy production-grade AI software.
- Own complex engineering initiatives from design through deployment.
- Work comfortably across frontend, backend, infrastructure, cloud, and AI systems.
- Design scalable backend services and APIs.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, and observability.
- Debug issues across distributed systems and identify root causes.
- Reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical adoption.
- Document technical decisions.
- Partner directly with the CTO on architecture and strategic initiatives.
