Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of the JVM ecosystem, including garbage collection and performance tuning.
- Experience with distributed REST APIs, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Hands-on experience with low-latency and high-throughput services.
- Experience with real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Kinesis, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with web/application servers such as Tomcat.
- Solid understanding of networking and load balancing concepts.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Readiness to participate in PagerDuty rotation (1 week per quarter).
- English language proficiency: B2 or higher.
Responsibilities
- Develop critical high-performance, large-scale services for DSP programmatic integrations and platform products.
- Work closely with the Product team to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code with a focus on high throughput and low latency.
- Design, develop, test, and improve new and existing platform features.
- Contribute to building large-scale distributed systems processing billions of transactions per day.
- Improve test coverage, monitoring, automation, and overall system observability.
- Follow Agile methodologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
