Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on IT system administration experience.
- Strong expertise administering AWS environments.
- Practical cloud administration experience across both AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Basic scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- US Citizenship.
- Demonstrable experience operating within Department of War (DoW) environments.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
- Strong documentation and communication habits.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain compute, storage, networking, and identity resources across AWS and Azure.
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenant services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
- Ensure security configurations align with DoW compliance requirements, including hardening and audit-readiness.
- Respond to and resolve escalated infrastructure and end-user support issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and configuration records.
