Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive project engineering or project management experience supporting power generation, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, including development, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Working knowledge of EPC contracting, construction administration, RFIs, submittals, and change management processes.
  • Experience contributing to at least two full-lifecycle infrastructure projects from development through commercial operation.
  • Experience managing or supporting technology pilot programs, R&D initiatives, or complex hardware and software integrations.
  • Field experience supporting construction, commissioning, and start-up activities involving OEM equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful execution of power generation projects from early development through construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and execution strategies.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across EPC contractors, engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage first-of-a-kind (FOAK) technology pilot projects that validate new power generation and control system solutions.
  • Coordinate the integration of complex hardware and software systems, including natural gas engines, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and switchgear.
  • Support engineering activities from FEED (FEL 1–3) through Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and financial performance.
