Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years experience in creative strategy, communications consulting, and design leadership for government, nonprofit, or mission-driven clients.
- Minimum 5 years client-facing experience, including 2 or more in project leadership roles.
- Strong design and visual storytelling portfolio demonstrating excellence across digital and print mediums.
- Proficiency in design applications (Adobe Suite or similar) and presentation/collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Figma, Canva).
- Exceptional client management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships.
- Deep understanding and ease of messaging across varied audiences, including the general public and elected officials.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear narratives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary advisor to clients on communication strategy, message development, and creative storytelling.
- Develop tailored work plans including messaging frameworks, visual identity systems, and outreach strategies.
- Lead client discovery sessions and facilitate workshops to translate goals into creative solutions.
- Oversee development of audience-centered deliverables such as reports, infographics, and digital media.
- Manage design and production processes while maintaining brand consistency across projects.
- Lead project design, client relationship management, and business development efforts.
- Develop and track metrics to assess communication effectiveness and audience engagement.
