Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining production applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Understanding of backend development principles, scalable system design, and software architecture.
- Experience designing, extending, and maintaining REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
- Practical experience using AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Ability to work effectively across a mature codebase.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, ship, and maintain features for AI agent observability and infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and application logic.
- Build and improve REST and GraphQL APIs with a focus on backward compatibility.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and AI teams to define requirements and deliver enhancements.
- Improve automated testing practices to strengthen reliability and workflows.
- Contribute to architectural patterns for AI agent interactions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Write technical documentation and maintain communication in an async environment.
