Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or comparable experience).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of backend development experience.
- 3+ years of experience writing production-level Python APIs and applications.
- Demonstrated success with architectural design and documentation of complex systems.
- 1-2 years of experience developing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience designing, deploying, and tuning production systems in AWS.
- Proficiency with APIs, microservices, asynchronous tasks, ORMs, and task queues.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and tuning Linux-based systems.
- Proficiency with unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions in Python using the full suite of AWS cloud computing capabilities.
- Develop and iterate on AI and LLM-based workflows to reduce overhead and time for customers.
- Operate in a collaborative, agile environment focused on taking action and team success.
- Create proofs-of-concept, prototypes, and production solutions to test ideas and enable data analysis.
- Achieve and maintain compliance with information security best practices.
- Engage with peers to review code and ensure delivery of maintainable and extensible solutions.
