Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience as a product designer.
- Track record in fintech, SaaS, or complex, workflow-heavy environments.
- Fluency in AI-assisted design, prototyping, and shipping simple features.
- Expertise in service and systems design for end-to-end multi-step flows.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills for data-heavy experiences.
- Skilled in user research, usability testing, and validating design decisions.
- Proven ability to own large, ambiguous projects from problem definition to shipping.
- Excellent storytelling, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within regulated workflows and legacy tooling constraints.
- Experience elevating team craft through critique, mentorship, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Build a working understanding of lending products, borrower/operator journeys, and compliance realities.
- Take large, loosely defined projects from discovery through delivery.
- Lead design on loan-application experiences to reduce friction for borrowers and operators.
- Use AI to create working prototypes and ship production changes in partnership with engineering.
- Run research including interviews, concept tests, and usability sessions.
- Map full workflows including handoffs, compliance, and edge cases to create scalable patterns.
- Drive design critique and improve team documentation and processes.
