- Strong editorial instinct with an understanding of cultural momentum and narrative arcs.
- Creativity and the ability to take unconventional approaches to content.
- Proven experience in end-to-end social media management, including content planning, creation, programming, and analysis.
- Deep knowledge of sports and culture storylines and the ability to identify trending topics.
- Deep understanding of social media platform organic best practices, particularly X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.
- Strong understanding of internet culture, humor, and social-first formats.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a fast-paced, robust content pipeline.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional partnerships.
- Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and the daily fantasy sports industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop always-on editorial plans and lead day-to-day management of PrizePicks social accounts across platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Produce and optimize content for distribution across multiple channels.
- Manage a 1-2 week rolling content pipeline, adjusting weekly based on new developments.
- Support channel planning for integrated marketing campaigns and tentpole events.
- Track player, league, team, and cultural storylines to surface actionable insights for the team.
- Conduct content and channel reporting to measure performance and inform future strategy.
- Participate in strategy sessions, campaign planning, and cross-functional processes.
