Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with distributed systems, APIs, databases, and production services.
- Proven experience with IoT, connected devices, network management systems, or infrastructure platforms.
- Hands-on experience with MQTT or similar messaging protocols.
- Solid understanding of X.509 certificates, TLS/mTLS, secure provisioning, and authentication/authorization.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including IP, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience designing device state models, command queues, telemetry pipelines, and configuration management.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Proficiency with containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and incident-oriented production operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse technical and business teams.
- Must be located in Poland for at least 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native services and communication patterns for a node-to-cloud IoT architecture.
- Build secure device identity and provisioning mechanisms using X.509 certificates and TLS/mTLS.
- Develop a Network Management System (NMS) for device registration, heartbeat monitoring, and telemetry ingestion.
- Manage device state, configuration versioning, and secure OTA (Over-the-Air) update workflows.
- Collaborate with embedded, hardware, product, and business teams to ensure scalable and reliable performance.
