Requirements
- Active TX MD license.
- Active DEA license.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Commitment to ethical and legal healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide physician supervision for nurse practitioners in accordance with Texas state regulations.
- Conduct at minimum quarterly virtual meetings with supervised nurse practitioners to review clinical cases and provide guidance.
- Perform periodic chart reviews and quality assurance checks.
- Provide on-demand clinical consultation as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on quality improvement initiatives and protocol development.
- Maintain all required documentation of supervisory activities.
