Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining production-grade frontend and backend applications.
- Proven expertise designing and architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-based systems.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Senior Engineers and technical leaders.
- Strong architectural thinking with the ability to make long-term technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to influence teams, build consensus, and drive change without relying on formal authority.
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, ownership mindset, and confidence navigating ambiguous technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural direction of the platform across frontend, backend, integrations, and supporting services.
- Design scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate complex architectural trade-offs and provide clear technical recommendations.
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
- Contribute directly to the development of high-quality software across the technology stack.
- Review code, system designs, and technical approaches.
- Lead investigations into complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Drive improvements in development processes, tooling, observability, performance, and reliability.
- Mentor Senior Engineers and technical leaders through coaching and technical guidance.
- Influence technical decisions by building alignment across engineering teams and business stakeholders.
