Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in software development, with hands-on backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Clojure for backend development and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Node.js, particularly for supporting legacy services.
- Understanding of service-oriented architectures and RESTful API design.
- Experience working in cloud environments.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and system optimization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for learning new cloud deployment and automation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant backend services primarily using Clojure.
- Maintain and modernize legacy Node.js services within the system.
- Collaborate on cloud deployments and enhance deployment pipelines using infrastructure-as-code.
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate backend services and resolve operational issues.
- Engage in continuous learning and adopt industry best practices to improve the technology stack.
