Requirements

  • 6+ years of configuration experience with Workday HCM, including business process framework, security, and general system administration.
  • 3+ years of experience leading an HRIS team.
  • Expertise in at least three Workday functional areas (e.g., Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Payroll).
  • Mastery of report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and drive system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems independently, and communicate complex processes clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience evaluating vendors and products, particularly related to GenAI ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in People Team Leadership meetings to ensure alignment on project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership for the exploration, design, and configuration of Workday and ancillary system features.
  • Collaborate with People, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Configure, test, and validate changes in Workday to ensure platform integrity and technical architecture maintenance.
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts to meet department and company strategic objectives.
  • Implement HRIS best practices, identify automation opportunities, and adhere to public company ITGC and business process controls.
