Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a technical artist shipping AAA, casual, or mobile games.
  • Proven track record of senior-level technical leadership.
  • Deep expertise in performance optimization across rendering, memory, shaders, draw calls, and asset pipelines.
  • Fluency with profiling and debugging tools like RenderDoc, PIX, Nsight, or Xcode/Instruments.
  • Strong art skills with deep understanding of 3D graphics, VFX, modeling, lighting, and texturing.
  • Experience building games for heavily constrained or early-stage platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with Unity3D and Unreal Engine rendering pipelines.
  • Expertise in DCC tools such as Maya, Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to mentor cross-disciplinary team members.

Responsibilities

  • Drive runtime and memory performance across CPU, GPU, and bandwidth budgets by profiling, diagnosing, and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Establish performance budgets, benchmarks, and best practices for emerging and constrained platforms.
  • Prototype new opportunities to incorporate technology into creative game experiences.
  • Architect and maintain art pipelines, tools, and automation to enable efficient content production.
  • Create high-quality game assets including models, textures, shaders, and VFX that meet strict technical performance requirements.
