Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a technical artist shipping AAA, casual, or mobile games.
- Proven track record of senior-level technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in performance optimization across rendering, memory, shaders, draw calls, and asset pipelines.
- Fluency with profiling and debugging tools like RenderDoc, PIX, Nsight, or Xcode/Instruments.
- Strong art skills with deep understanding of 3D graphics, VFX, modeling, lighting, and texturing.
- Experience building games for heavily constrained or early-stage platforms.
- Deep familiarity with Unity3D and Unreal Engine rendering pipelines.
- Expertise in DCC tools such as Maya, Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to mentor cross-disciplinary team members.
Responsibilities
- Drive runtime and memory performance across CPU, GPU, and bandwidth budgets by profiling, diagnosing, and resolving bottlenecks.
- Establish performance budgets, benchmarks, and best practices for emerging and constrained platforms.
- Prototype new opportunities to incorporate technology into creative game experiences.
- Architect and maintain art pipelines, tools, and automation to enable efficient content production.
- Create high-quality game assets including models, textures, shaders, and VFX that meet strict technical performance requirements.
