Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8–10+ years of experience working across the software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using React, TypeScript, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and experience building robust backend services.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and data-driven services.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DataDog, or Kafka.
- Experience architecting and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure using AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong background building and maintaining full-stack web applications in collaborative engineering teams.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Ability to take ownership of product development while maintaining high standards for design, quality, and performance.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute expertise to architecture decisions through thoughtful analysis and data-driven approaches.
- Own end-to-end feature development, from planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Build and enhance full-stack applications, supporting services across databases, backend systems, APIs, and frontend experiences.
- Develop scalable cloud-based solutions while continuously evaluating new technologies and services to improve engineering efficiency.
- Promote software quality by implementing best practices around testing, maintainability, reliability, and code standards.
- Support secure software development practices, ensuring applications meet strict healthcare security requirements.
- Mentor and support junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge and encouraging professional growth.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions that address user needs.
