Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in mobile testing and automation, with demonstrated ownership of quality initiatives at a senior or lead level.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Flutter-based mobile applications and working with frameworks such as Flutter Integration Tests, Appium, Espresso, or Maestro.
- Advanced programming skills in Dart, Java, Kotlin, or similar programming languages.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining robust, scalable test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of mobile development challenges, including platform differences, application lifecycle, performance, memory, and networking considerations.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, or custom LLM-based workflows to enhance testing productivity.
- Experience working with cloud-based device testing platforms such as Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Codemagic, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to perform deep root-cause analysis for automation failures and production-quality issues.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with mobile performance testing, including startup time, FPS, memory usage, battery impact, and application responsiveness.
- Solid understanding of API testing and backend service dependencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mobile testing and automation initiatives across iOS and Android applications built with Flutter.
- Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Flutter Integration Tests, Espresso, Maestro, and related technologies.
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered testing practices, including automated test generation, failure analysis, intelligent reporting, and workflow optimization.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, reliability, and non-functional testing.
- Investigate complex issues across automation frameworks, application behavior, device variations, and CI/CD environments.
- Own release quality processes, including regression validation, risk assessment, and final quality approvals.
- Partner with engineering, product, design, and DevOps teams to improve testability and reduce production issues.
- Mentor SDETs and junior team members while establishing coding standards, review practices, and automation best practices.
- Monitor quality metrics, automation effectiveness, and coverage improvements to communicate progress with stakeholders.
- Continuously improve QA processes to accelerate delivery cycles and increase confidence in releases.
