Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with backend technologies such as JavaScript, Go, Java, Python, C#, or similar technologies.
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable application design.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Knowledge of caching strategies, asynchronous processing, and message queue systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, modern software development practices, and agile methodologies.
- Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Sentry, ELK, or similar solutions.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and clean code practices.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Building reliable, high-performance systems capable of supporting large-scale workloads with low latency.
- Writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
- Developing reusable components and services while contributing to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
- Optimizing backend systems for scalability, availability, and performance.
- Troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.
- Improving system reliability through monitoring, logging, testing, observability, and operational best practices.
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvements across engineering practices and development processes.
