Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Previous account management experience.
- Experience managing projects and delivering against key performance indicators.
- Strong understanding of sales fundamentals, customer strategy, and commercial execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate recommendations clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, business judgment, and strategic thinking.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Ability to take initiative, work with limited supervision, and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support account managers in executing sales strategies and managing customer relationships with key retail partners.
- Lead direct sales activities for assigned customer accounts, including business presentations and category discussions.
- Drive category growth initiatives and support achievement of annual sales and commercial investment objectives.
- Develop customer business plans, including assortment strategies, new item presentations, pricing recommendations, promotional initiatives, and merchandising opportunities.
- Analyze category performance reports and identify insights, opportunities, and recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Partner with shopper insights and data teams to translate analytics into actionable customer strategies.
- Manage commercial spend activities, including tracking, administration, record keeping, and performance follow-up.
- Provide timely communication regarding customer updates, category performance, forecasts, and business opportunities.
- Create customized selling stories and presentations tailored to customer needs and category objectives.
- Collaborate with commercial development, retail marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution.
