Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Deep experience building robust, scalable, production-grade applications using Node.js or related backend frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript as it pertains to backend systems and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of API design (REST and/or GraphQL).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and modern DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK).
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Proficiency in working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), designing schemas, and optimizing queries.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Vue).
- Familiarity with backend security best practices and observability tooling.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side services and APIs, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and planning through implementation, testing, and production deployment.
- Optimize the existing codebase to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, specifically advancements in AI technologies, and propose adoption where applicable.
