Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active PMHNP-BC certification.
- Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license.
- Active DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority.
- At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure.
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4 pm ET weekdays or anytime weekends).
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide medication management addressing unique patient needs.
- Build meaningful therapeutic relationships, providing education and ongoing support to patients and families.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure safety and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals in weekly team and supervisory meetings.
- Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
