Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience as an individual contributor.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with React and TypeScript.
- Relational database experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Experience with JUnit or similar testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with Git and work tracking in Jira.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-quality backend and frontend components.
- Build APIs, business logic, data access layers, and user interfaces.
- Refactor legacy Java applications (e.g., Struts/JBoss) into modern Spring Boot services.
- Implement authentication and authorization using IAM solutions like Keycloak.
- Support the full SDLC including requirement gathering, estimation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical knowledge sharing within Agile teams.
