Requirements
- Significant experience building commercial software products with a strong PHP development background.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalable application design, and extensive experience optimizing MySQL and application performance.
- Extensive experience with WordPress and WooCommerce handled at an enterprise level.
- Strong understanding of WordPress Blocks.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, system integrations, and backend services.
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript development.
- Practical experience working with AI Agents, AI Tooling, and LLMs.
- Strong understanding of security, testing, and maintainable software design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across a distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve core features of our enterprise SaaS platform while helping shape the long-term technical architecture and engineering roadmap.
- Develop and maintain high-performance custom WordPress plugins and platform components, refactoring and modernizing existing code while reducing technical debt.
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Design robust, seamless integrations with enterprise systems and third-party services.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Mentor other engineers, lead technical initiatives, and promote engineering best practices.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and innovative approaches (such as AI capabilities) that can improve our platform.
