Requirements
- Strong experience with Laravel and modern PHP.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture, domain modeling, and backend best practices.
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Architecture.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with React, Next, and Tailwind.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and production environments.
- Comfort working across the stack to deliver end-to-end features.
- Highly self-directed, able to plan, prioritize, and execute with minimal supervision.
- Structured and methodical, writing maintainable code and thinking in systems.
- Product-minded, understanding how technical decisions affect users and business outcomes.
- Pragmatic problem-solver, balancing ideal architecture with real-world constraints.
- Clear communicator in a distributed, async-first team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core backend features using the Laravel framework.
- Develop and evolve RESTful APIs used by internal services, partners, and integrations.
- Implement frontend components that support and surface backend functionality (primarily using TypeScript, React, and Next).
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations to turn real-world workflows into scalable software.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, data models, and technical standards.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the platform.
- Debug complex issues across the stack and take ownership of resolutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Continuously improve code quality, tooling, and development processes.
