Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer.
- Experience with cloud SaaS products and systems handling large volumes of data.
- Real-world experience with microservices.
- Real-world experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Real-world experience with messaging systems.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify system failures and overspending.
- Developer-focused approach to design.
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Design and improve the cloud structure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) of our data platform.
- Build a system ready for failures, capable of recovering automatically.
- Create clear APIs, templates, and common tools for internal developers.
- Monitor and optimize the use of cloud servers and tools like Kubernetes.
- Identify outdated system components and plan modernization efforts.
- Define company technical standards and review team designs.
- Ensure platform architecture inherently protects customer data.
- Define metrics for platform performance and monitoring.
- Build prototypes and test new technologies for potential adoption.
