Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in physician practices, healthcare organizations, or private equity-backed healthcare groups.
  • Experience selling to or working within Ophthalmology practices.
  • Minimum 2+ years of transactional selling experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complete sales cycles.
  • Proven success securing access to executive-level practice leadership, such as Medical Directors, Chief Physicians, or Board members.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips, long-distance driving, and air travel.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Prospect within the assigned territory to develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct full sales cycles, including product demonstrations, proposal presentations, and return on investment analysis.
  • Negotiate contract terms within established company guidelines.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track leads, monitor sales campaign progress, and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients throughout the implementation and go-live process.
  • Mentor and train new and existing Regional Sales Managers and Associate Sales Representatives.
  • Travel to assigned territories and industry trade shows to conduct sales activities.
