Requirements
- Strong experience in a senior cloud engineering or infrastructure engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience designing and operating large-scale cloud platforms or distributed systems.
- Proven expertise in Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and automation principles.
- Experience working in a managed service or service provider environment.
- Experience with OpenStack and associated compute, networking, and orchestration services.
- Experience with distributed storage platforms and data services.
- Familiarity with Canonical tooling and cloud deployment models.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tooling.
- Experience supporting multi-tenant environments and large-scale infrastructure platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for OpenStack-based platforms as a subject matter expert.
- Design, implement, and manage compute, storage, and networking components of the cloud platform.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, orchestration templates, and automation pipelines.
- Support high availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a 24x7 service environment.
- Manage the lifecycle, patching, and compliance of large-scale infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners like Canonical to deliver and optimize services.
