Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a standalone manual tester with high agency.
- Prior experience vetting large language models (LLMs) and performing prompt iteration.
- Strong understanding of how language models generate responses and their unique challenges.
- Data and backend schema literacy for effective troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to work autonomously without day-to-day direction.
- Fluent communication skills to coordinate closely with the development team.
Responsibilities
- Validate that the chat interface accurately understands user intent and LLM responses are precise.
- Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy as the sole QA engineer on the project.
- Participate in daily scrums to report behaviors and status.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot data and schema issues and retest fixes.
- Create and maintain clear, logical, and structured QA documentation and test plans.
