Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Secondary language proficiency in Spanish.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Strong phone, verbal communication, and active listening skills.
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Field and resolve a large volume of inquiries via phone and other channels in Spanish or English.
  • Follow communication scripts to assist patients with scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-registration.
  • Screen patients for financial support using real-time eligibility (RTE) systems.
  • Relay patient communications to providers and provide pre-visit instructions.
  • Inform patients of STI results (excluding HIV) per strict protocols.
  • Document activities accurately using phone and EHR systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve quality and performance standards.
