Requirements

  • Seven or more years delivering production software with measurable business outcomes in a product-driven company.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at senior IC level independently defining scope, navigating ambiguity, and making architecture trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience building integrations against enterprise SaaS APIs across HR, Finance, or IT platforms (Workday, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, or equivalent).
  • Fluency with LLM APIs and production AI workflows (agents, document processing, Q&A systems, or AI-assisted automation).
  • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional automation initiatives with direct operational impact.
  • Active practitioner of modern AI development tools including Claude, Lovable, Cursor, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with agent frameworks, MCP integrations, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation tooling.
  • Ability to think at systems level regarding compliance and security implications in sensitive functions.
  • Familiarity with compliance and governance requirements (PCI DSS, SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, or equivalent) as they apply to automated systems.
  • Clear, direct communicator capable of translating operational problems into technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of AI and automation initiatives across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations.
  • Identify, prioritise, and build the highest-leverage automation opportunities across internal functions.
  • Design and ship AI-powered systems that replace manual internal processes, including document processing pipelines and approval automation.
  • Engage directly with functional leaders to identify build priorities and translate operational pain into technical scope.
  • Build rapidly and iterate based on real feedback, establishing a pattern of continuous improvement.
  • Make pragmatic use of AI development tools, LLM APIs, and cloud-native integrations.
  • Establish reusable patterns, services, and frameworks that give internal functions self-serve automation capability.
  • Set technical direction for internal AI tooling and champion AI-native practices through code review and coaching.
