Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with microservice-based architectures.
- Deep understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
- Experience writing secure code and applying OWASP security principles.
- Solid experience working with SQL databases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies or frameworks (preferred).
- Experience participating in bug bounty programs or contributing to security research (preferred).
- Understanding of browser and network security, modern web architecture, and web automation frameworks (preferred).
- Working knowledge of Linux environments (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation tools and services that support core SOC operations, managing the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
- Streamline workflows and improve security efficiency using modern technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, Python, and message queues.
- Collaborate closely with security analysts and engineers to solve complex automation and operational challenges.
- Research emerging security and automation standards, identifying new technologies that strengthen our defenses and processes.
- Contribute to system reliability, observability, and scalability through thoughtful automation and process design.
