Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in project credit analysis, corporate credit analysis, leveraged finance, direct lending, or at a major credit rating agency.
- Experience in renewable energy or similar project credit analysis is a major plus.
- Solid understanding of fixed-income instruments, debt structures, and loan documentation.
- Highly proficient in financial modeling and corporate finance, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience leveraging data tools like Python, SQL, or VBA is a significant plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a STEM subject.
- Actively pursuing a postgraduate finance designation such as CFA or CAIA is an asset.
- Strong communicator with full proficiency in English.
- Track record of taking ownership and initiative for a product and developing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep fundamental credit analysis on new impact project bonds.
- Analyze capital structures, debt documentation, legal frameworks, financial covenants, and security packages.
- Monitor the financial health of the existing bond portfolio, tracking key credit metrics and industry trends.
- Identify potential credit migration or flags early through proactive portfolio management.
- Prepare high-quality credit memorandums and present investment theses and risk assessments to the Investment Committee.
