Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Hands-on experience building and customizing Backstage in production.
- Hands-on experience implementing Argo Workflows for CI, batch, and event-driven automation.
- Hands-on experience implementing GitOps delivery with Argo CD.
- Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience, including designing and operating production clusters.
- Hands-on experience building saturation and load tests with k6.
- Hands-on experience enforcing policy with Kyverno or equivalent admission control.
- Strong professional experience with at least one of: Golang, Python, TypeScript, Bash, Ruby, or Rust.
- Strong experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and templating (Helm, Kustomize).
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, Splunk, or ELK.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a self-service developer platform from the ground up using Backstage.
- Stand up and own GitOps-based continuous delivery with Argo CD or Flux CD.
- Build and maintain automated workflow orchestration using Argo Workflows for CI pipelines and event-driven automation.
- Architect, operate, and scale production Kubernetes environments.
- Design and run saturation and load testing using k6, integrated into delivery pipelines.
- Implement policy enforcement and admission control with Kyverno, including signed/verified image policies.
- Provide operational support and project deployments for customer environments.
- Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums.
