Requirements
- Demonstrated excellence designing and operating large-scale distributed systems with cloud service-oriented architecture.
- Proven leadership in fast-paced environments, setting standards, and inspiring technical teams.
- Mastery in backend programming (Go required).
- Hands-on experience with distributed data platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NoSQL.
- Strong data engineering experience: building and operating ETL pipelines, data modeling, and schema design.
- Experience building APIs and analytics/data infrastructure.
- Experience deploying ML algorithms in production.
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Commitment to security, compliance, and robust, scalable design.
- Python proficiency valued for data/AI work; Java or Ruby experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of distributed cloud-native applications capable of high concurrency.
- Design and build production-grade data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows with modern orchestration tools.
- Integrate ML and GenAI capabilities into product features, including RAG and LLM-powered enrichment.
- Champion data quality by building validation, observability, and testing into pipelines.
- Collaborate with data science and product partners to ship intelligent, complex features.
- Set engineering standards for code quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Decompose legacy systems into SOA/microservices and resolve technical debt.
