Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as an LPCC in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches (e.g., CBT, narrative therapy, social-constructionism).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and all state and federal licensing board laws.
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
