Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT support engineering, or similar roles in remote or distributed environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing MDM solutions for Apple-heavy environments (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar tools).
  • Strong experience with identity and access management systems (Okta or equivalent), including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and lifecycle policies.
  • Proven scripting ability in Python, JavaScript, or Bash, with experience working with APIs.
  • Experience with endpoint security tools such as SentinelOne or equivalent EDR platforms.
  • Hands-on experience building automations using iPaaS tools such as Zapier or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating or using LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) to automate operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001), including audit support and access control processes.
  • Experience managing remote device fleets, including logistics for shipping, retrieval, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document processes and collaborate effectively in asynchronous, remote-first environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day IT support operations for a growing remote team, resolving tickets related to access, devices, accounts, and general technical issues.
  • Own the full device lifecycle including procurement, configuration, deployment, tracking, and recovery of company laptops.
  • Design, build, and maintain automations across tools such as identity management, ticketing systems, communication platforms, and workflow automation tools.
  • Develop and maintain internal scripts and tools leveraging APIs and LLMs to streamline onboarding, ticket triage, documentation, and IT workflows.
  • Support IT governance and compliance activities including access reviews, audit evidence collection, and enforcement of security policies.
  • Manage and optimize core IT systems such as identity providers, endpoint management platforms, security tools, and collaboration suites.
  • Execute employee onboarding and offboarding workflows with speed, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining detailed documentation and runbooks.
