Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, GIS/Geography, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within technical industries such as engineering, geospatial services, environmental consulting, or government contracting.
- Familiarity with GIS concepts and exposure to Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent).
- Experience managing professional social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, including content planning and performance tracking.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for broader audiences.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, particularly in deadline-driven environments tied to proposals and events.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, marketing, and business development teams.
Responsibilities
- Support business development and proposal teams by developing visually compelling layouts, graphics, and storytelling elements for RFPs, RFQs, capability statements, and pursuit materials.
- Build a foundational understanding of GIS concepts and Esri tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online) to accurately translate technical capabilities into marketing content.
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather maps, data, visuals, and insights for use in marketing and proposal deliverables.
- Manage and grow professional social media presence, particularly LinkedIn, through content calendars, campaigns, and engagement optimization.
- Produce marketing collateral for conferences and industry events, including presentations, banners, digital assets, and printed materials.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to assess industry positioning, messaging trends, and growth opportunities.
- Apply SEO best practices to digital content, monitor performance metrics, and recommend optimization strategies to improve visibility and reach.
