Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Direct experience working with students who have ADHD or executive function challenges.
  • Proven ability to build routines and systems that successfully adapt to student needs.
  • Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to explain strategies clearly to parents and staff.
  • Understanding of the demands and environment of competitive youth athletics.
  • Ability to meet students where they are and adjust coaching approaches accordingly.
  • Experience coaching, tutoring, or supporting students in a virtual/remote setting is a plus.
  • Formal training in executive function coaching or related methodologies is preferred.
  • Background in competitive sports or athletics is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one executive function coaching sessions focusing on time management, task initiation, and planning.
  • Meet regularly with students via video to work through academic challenges and build sustainable routines.
  • Facilitate small-group sessions centered on study skills, organization, and academic habits.
  • Collaborate with academic guides and athletic coaches to ensure consistent support across the student's day.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student strategies, progress, and areas for growth.
  • Assist students in navigating learning platforms to maximize focus and minimize distractions.
