Requirements
- 8+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience in a capital-intensive, operationally complex business like mining, manufacturing, aerospace, or energy.
- Experience managing small, efficient teams in dynamic, high-growth environments.
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
- Direct experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong cross-functional communication and ability to align finance with operations.
- Experience evaluating and deploying finance technology platforms.
- Interest in applying AI to FP&A workflows.
- Willingness to travel to exploration and mine development field operations.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Own cash forecasting including quarterly and annual spend predictions.
- Develop analytical models to inform decision making and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Produce clear, actionable financial reporting for company leadership.
- Maintain a single source of truth for financial data by partnering with accounting and data teams.
- Lead the business justification process and ensure efficient capital allocation.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive cost discipline and performance accountability.
- Design and select FP&A systems, including third-party and custom-built tools.
- Drive automation and implement AI-enabled workflows to improve forecast accuracy.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
- Support IPO readiness by scaling financial capabilities.
