Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting finance professionals within the Indian market.
  • Strong background in hiring for investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, equity research, valuation, structured finance, or project finance roles.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling concepts and differences between key finance functions.
  • Proven ability to assess technical finance profiles and evaluate candidate quality independently.
  • Experience recruiting from leading financial outsourcing and consulting firms such as Acuity, TresVista, Evalueserve, Aranca, CRISIL, EXL, and similar organizations.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience handling compensation discussions in the Indian finance market.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, contractor-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing structured candidate pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow a strong pipeline of financial modeling and finance professionals across India.
  • Source and recruit candidates from leading firms in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, equity research, valuation, structured finance, and FP&A.
  • Evaluate candidate technical fit, financial modeling expertise, and overall domain experience before client submission.
  • Conduct structured screening interviews assessing communication skills, compensation expectations, and career trajectory.
  • Negotiate compensation packages with candidates while ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-quality finance professionals in the market.
  • Accurately manage candidate data, notes, and pipeline stages within ATS systems such as Ashby.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure high-quality shortlists and efficient hiring cycles.
