Requirements
- 12+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house leadership experience within a technology, SaaS, or high-growth global organization.
- Qualified lawyer in the US, UK, or EU jurisdictions.
- Proven experience leading or scaling a commercial legal function in a multinational or rapidly expanding business environment.
- Deep expertise in negotiating complex, cross-border enterprise agreements across regulated or high-stakes industries.
- Ability to partner with executive stakeholders and influence business strategy through legal guidance and risk management.
- Experience building or modernizing legal operations, ideally incorporating AI tools, automation, or legal tech solutions.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing legal teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the global commercial legal function, overseeing commercial contracting strategy across multiple regions including North America, EMEA, and APAC.
- Define and implement commercial risk frameworks and negotiation standards that enable enterprise growth while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
- Serve as a key legal advisor to Sales, Finance, Product, Security, and executive leadership on complex enterprise agreements and cross-border transactions.
- Build and develop a high-performing legal team, strengthening leadership depth, operational independence, and succession planning.
- Architect and implement modern legal operations, leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven KPIs to improve contract lifecycle management.
- Partner cross-functionally to support product launches, international expansion, and evolving regulatory requirements.
