Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to at least one bar association.
- 2+ years of in-house legal experience.
- Experience managing high-volume contracts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of technology contracts and SaaS subscription agreements.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and contract lifecycle management systems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
- Practical, business-oriented approach to risk assessment and negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and revise high-volume commercial agreements including SaaS subscriptions, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and procurement contracts.
- Operate effectively within an SLA-driven contracting environment while ensuring alignment with company risk profiles.
- Leverage AI-enabled legal tools, contract lifecycle management systems, and standardized workflows to enhance productivity and speed.
- Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, Procurement, and Executive leadership to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Provide clear, actionable legal guidance to Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Train and mentor internal stakeholders on legal and negotiation best practices.
- Support the review and negotiation of DPAs and security documentation in partnership with security and compliance teams.
- Assess legal and operational risk associated with contract terms and provide solutions-oriented recommendations.
