Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar finance-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience within the real estate or property management industry is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analyses to support effective financial management.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure spending remains aligned with approved budgets and internal financial controls.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring timely approvals and payments to suppliers and contractors.
  • Produce monthly financial reports that provide clear insights into project performance for management review.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing reconciliations and ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
  • Partner with project managers to provide cost control guidance, financial planning support, and budget recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements while maintaining complete project documentation.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and reporting initiatives to support broader business objectives.
