Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in data management, master data management, data stewardship, or a related discipline.
- Strong SQL skills with experience performing data profiling, validation, and analytical queries.
- Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience using data quality tools and implementing data quality monitoring processes.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools for reporting and tracking data quality metrics.
- Good understanding of data lifecycle management, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical data issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, Stibo, or similar solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise data management principles is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain master data records for core business domains, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of enterprise "Golden Records."
- Resolve duplicate records, data conflicts, and inconsistencies while maintaining relationships, hierarchies, and cross-system mappings.
- Oversee matching and merging processes to improve master data consolidation and consistency across platforms.
- Define, monitor, and report on data quality KPIs, including accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
- Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and lead remediation efforts to prevent recurring problems.
- Design and support automated data profiling, validation, cleansing, and quality monitoring processes.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies, business rules, and stewardship standards.
- Maintain documentation including data lineage, business glossaries, metadata, and data dictionaries.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to promote data stewardship best practices and improve enterprise data management.
