Job Details

8+ years of software engineering experience, including work on distributed systems and large-scale backend platforms.
Strong backend development experience (Scala preferred, with openness to Go, Java, Python, or similar).
Experience with cloud environments (e.g., GCP) and building scalable service-oriented architectures.
Proven ability to design and operate complex systems with attention to performance, reliability, and scalability.
Strong product mindset with the ability to align technical decisions to customer and business outcomes.
Hands-on experience or strong interest in using AI tools, LLMs, or agent-based systems.
Ability to design workflows, guardrails, and feedback mechanisms for AI-assisted engineering.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
Comfort working in autonomous, low-process environments with high ownership expectations.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to ramp up in new codebases and domains.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems and foundational architecture patterns for partner commerce.
Own features end-to-end, from backend services to partner-facing product capabilities.
Build and optimize systems that support AI-assisted development workflows, including feedback loops and agent orchestration.
Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define and execute roadmap priorities.
Drive technical decisions through clear documentation, asynchronous alignment, and engineering judgment.
Improve codebases and engineering practices to enable faster, safer development for engineers and AI-driven workflows.
Contribute to a culture of high-quality engineering through peer collaboration and continuous improvement.
