Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance agency, carrier services, account management, customer success, or a related client-facing role.
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred at hire, with requirement to obtain Property & Casualty and Crop Insurance Licenses within the first year.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, policy structures, underwriting concepts, and client service processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and a client-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day service activities for assigned client accounts, including policy changes, billing inquiries, certificates, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and claims coordination.
  • Serve as a primary client contact, assessing needs, gathering exposure details, and recommending appropriate next steps within agency guidelines.
  • Prepare new business, renewal, endorsement, and account-rounding quotes using carrier systems and agency platforms.
  • Develop client-facing materials such as proposals, coverage summaries, premium comparisons, binders, and applications.
  • Review policy documents, invoices, endorsements, and certificates to ensure accuracy and alignment with client instructions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to obtain quotes, clarify requirements, and secure approvals.
  • Support producers and senior advisors in submissions, renewals, remarketing efforts, and account follow-up.
  • Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities, escalating recommendations to appropriate team members.
