Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering building production-grade platforms.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.
- Proven experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Experience designing and optimizing analytical data stores, ideally ClickHouse.
- Practical experience with dbt and modern ELT patterns.
- Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures using Kafka.
- Experience deploying and operating data workloads in Kubernetes-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling and Kimball methodology.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to balance speed and quality in technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve data platforms using Python, SQL, ClickHouse, Airflow, Kafka, dbt, and dlt.
- Design clean, sustainable data models using dimensional modeling and Kimball principles.
- Manage transformation workflows in dbt to improve testing, documentation, and lineage.
- Optimize data storage and query performance in ClickHouse.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and data quality within Kubernetes environments.
- Drive engineering standards and best practices for data development, testing, and deployment.
- Champion data governance and partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor other engineers.
