Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar and eligible to practice in your state of residence.
  • 6-9 years of relevant experience, with strong training at a top-rated national or international law firm.
  • Proven experience drafting, negotiating, closing, and advising on complex commercial software and SaaS agreements with enterprise customers, partners, and resellers.
  • Strong understanding of commercial legal issues related to SaaS and software licensing, professional services, and go-to-market programs.
  • Strong familiarity with agreements governed by California or New York choice of law.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the go-to-market team by reviewing and negotiating customer contracts.
  • Lead complex cross-border transactions with sophisticated counterparties across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitor and advise on relevant regulatory, compliance, and legal developments.
  • Provide training, maintain and update policies and templates, and develop and improve scalable workflows to support company growth.
