Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience across the full SDLC.
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience focused on JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 2+ years of experience building, scaling, or maintaining e-commerce or high-volume transactional SaaS applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Nest.js for backend services.
- Solid experience with React and Next.js for responsive frontend development.
- Hands-on experience integrating PunchOut catalogs (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) with ERP systems.
- Proficiency with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational (MySQL) database design.
- Familiarity with cXML PunchOut protocols and purchase order/invoice document exchange.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers via code reviews and pairing.
Responsibilities
- Own significant features end to end and contribute to system architecture.
- Build, review, and maintain high-performing e-commerce and marketplace software.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead to ensure code quality and system scalability.
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions.
- Resolve complex technical roadblocks and scope work accurately within agile sprints.
- Integrate PunchOut catalogs with third-party procurement and ERP systems.
